Located on the second floor of the Public Square, the Information Commons is a state-of-the-art virtual library facility, there are four study rooms available for student use. A library technician and a member of the Help Desk are generally on hand to assist you. Stop by or call them at 516.323.3932.

You do not need to make an advance reservation unless you want to ensure guaranteed availability. Reservations are recommended for spring and fall semesters - first come/first served - and are not necessary during intersession or summer.

Study Rooms 273, 275, 277, 279
Location: 4 rooms available in The Information Commons, 2nd floor of the Public Square Bldg.
Capacity: Each room seats a maximum of six.
Equipment:Touch-screen computer with internet access, whiteboard. Students may borrow a wireless keyboard and mouse to use with these computers, as well as dry-erase markers and laptops.
Room Policies for Study Rooms in the Information Commons
Study rooms are open whenever the Public Square building is open.
A valid Molloy ID card is required to borrow these items. Laptops may also be borrowed for a two-hour time period when IT staff are available. Both a driver's license (or equivalent) and a valid Molloy ID card are required to borrow laptops.
During spring and fall semesters the rooms can be (and should be) reserved Monday - Thursday 11am-5pm. At all other times, study rooms are first-come, first-served.
Reservations may be made up to 1 week in advance and are limited to ONE 2-hour time slot per group per day.
Reservations may NOT be made for these three rooms for Tutoring Services (formerly ACE) tutoring sessions (Tutoring Services tutors, please see Kimberly for more information.)
In the event that a student is late, his or her reservation will be honored for 15 minutes.
