Molloy University Profiles

A Guide to Pure4EGS for Molloy faculty.

New Profiles (created on Pure)

During the Pilot year, July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, new profiles will be limited to full-time faculty with either:

  • at least one traditionally published work OR
  • at least one work in the DigitalCommons@Molloy or other open access repository

There needs to be some type of content for the Research & Scholarship category.

After the Pilot these eligibility requirements will be reviewed. New profiles will not be created until the migration from bepress to Pure is completed at the end of Summer 2024.

Steps to Creating a Profile

  1. Faculty fill out an online form (linked above)
    • Faculty status confirmed and/or Faculty member was recommended by Audrey Cohan
    • Optional: CV review for DigitalCommons@Molloy consideration
  2. Profile & User account created (currently overseen by Tabitha/library)
  3. Faculty add/import their content across the permitted categories

Reminders:

  • Profiles are optional
  • Pure is new to all of us so there will be a learning curve

Legacy Profiles (from bepress)

Anyone who had a profile in "Molloy Faculty Profiles" from 2018 to Summer 2024 - these profiles were migrated over. These were SelectedWorks Profiles by bepress and part of Molloy's Expert Gallery Suite (works.bepress.com/experts/molloycollege/). Profiles were open to full-time faculty, adjuncts, deans, vice presidents, and administrators like librarians.
