Reminder about Student Work (From the Submissions - General page)

All student work must go through a department; non-department approved submissions will not be accepted. Graduate Theses & Dissertations are the only student works that are automatically included in the DigitalCommons@Molloy after submission to ProQuest ETD.

Below you will find instructions for the DigitalCommons@Molloy series that currently accept submissions directly from students.

Molloy MURC Annual Conference

MURC is an annual conference with a limited time open for submissions.

  1. Go to https://digitalcommons.molloy.edu/murc
  2. Click on Submit Presentation, under the Author Corner (in desktop view, this is to the left in the sidebar - in mobile view, this is towards the bottom of the screen).
  3. Create an account using your Molloy email address
  4. Read the policies and agreement
  5. Check the box and click continue
  6. Fill out the Submission form
    • Presentation Title
    • Presenter Information 
      1. Your name and Molloy email (should autofill)
      2. Co-Presentor names and Molloy emails
    • Faculty mentor name
    • Presenter Major (if more than one presenter, use first presenter's major)
    • Enter your abstract (up to 150 words)
    • Enter your keywords (up to 10 words)
    • Select disciplines - see the full list of Academic Disciplines
    • Select Molloy Pillars - Study is usually a good choice but others might be applicable
  7. Click submit

Resources for Molloy Undergraduate Researchers

Undergraduate Research is typically done with guidance by a mentor, and such guidance should ideally also include feedback on the communication of the findings of the research. We urge you to consult your Research Mentor for help with writing abstracts and preparing posters and oral presentations. Below are some additional resources which we hope you find helpful.
