You can use the box below to proxy any Library resource. If you have any questions, please contact Marianna Czeisel, Electronic Resources Librarian.
Do not use this proxy prefix for Open Access materials that reside outside of a database or library resources from a different institution.
For any article that has a DOI or PMID, you can now use the Libkey.io prefix for persistent linking.
No need to know which database the article is available in; just add the libkey prefix to the doi as seen below:
The prefix: https://libkey.io/libraries/1366/
Example:https://libkey.io/libraries/1366/10.5860/crl.79.6.737
For links to work correctly in Canvas and for the off-campus user, it is important that a permanent (or persistent) link is used. Only for some resources will the URL in the web browser address bar be the correct link. The database could call it: a permalink, direct link, DOI link, jumpstart link, or some other variation. When a user is off-campus, they need to Login for Library Resources. It is easier to set these permalinks up correctly, if you are on-campus. If you are off-campus, the links will look different than in the examples below.
You might have to add the library's proxy prefix if it is not already in the permanent link supplied by the database. Our proxy prefix is https://molloy.idm.oclc.org/login?url=
Important Notes:
If you have any questions about linking to the library resources, contact Marianna Czeisel, Electronic Resources Librarian
You can always double-check library access to a journal by using the Journal/eJournal finder or by checking Libkey.io to check by DOI or PMID
Place the proxy prefix before the URL. Ex. the test below would be https://molloy.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://psycnet.apa.org/record/9999-44313-000
Place the proxy prefix before the DOI or the URL.
1. Do not use the link in the URL at the top of your web browser. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Document URL.
2. Copy the entire Document URL. Remember to add the library's proxy prefix so this link works in Canvas and off-campus. The proxy prefix is: https://molloy.idm.oclc.org/login?url=
