Finding Anthologies

""

...what are they again?

An Anthology is a collection of works, often by different authors that focuses on a specific topic contained within one book. It is generally authored or 'compiled' by an Editor. The editor usually writes an introduction to the collection that informs the reader what to expect.

How Can I Tell an Anthology from a Regular Book?

  • The easiest way to spot anthologies is to look for "Edited by" in the short citation presented when searching the catalog, or perhaps look for a list of multiple authors.
  • A quick and easy strategy is to use Molloy's Books & Videos tab and search for anthologies.

There are two ways to search: Physical Book or eBook

You can start from the search page by selecting "Everything" or "Library Catalog" from the dropdown and enter the search term anthology then click the magnifying glass.

For physical books in the library, select "In Library" and "Books" from the filters on the left side.
