Join us in this session to learn about Open Access including common terms & definitions, what falls under the OA umbrella, and how you can start using (or sharing) OA content today. If you're brand new to the world of Open Access then this is a great place to start especially if you're interested in the other sessions this week.

Green Open Access

Open Access (OA) publishing has a variety of levels but most require Article Processing Charges (APC) to make research Open. However, there is another option with non-Open Access (traditionally) published works! This session will cover Green OA, also known as "self archiving." It'll review publisher resources to better understand author self-archiving and highlight real-world examples in the DigitalCommons@Molloy.

This event will discuss how to access and explore Molloy’s digitized yearbooks on DigitalCommons, as well as other digitized material available through DigitialCommons. An introduction to Molloy’s archival collection will also be provided along with suggestions on how to discover the Archives online and through social media.
